I booked a vehicle inspection today for an Ford XR6
(Booking Code: 19D3D8).
I would like to comment on the professional attitude from
the team at State Roads.
I first called to make an enquiring on how the process
works, the lady who answered the phone was nice and friendly
and was happy to explain the details and price for
inspection.
Once I had the details of the car, and when it would
available for inspection, I then called again to make the
booking. Again the lady on the phone was friendly and
professional, going over exactly what the inspector would
carry out, she also gave me the name of the inspector, his
contact number and the time I should call him. I think
that's a great process and is good to know who inspects the
car, and even better when you get to talk to him afterwards.
Today was the day of inspection, I got the report and
photos, and I must say these exceeded my expectations, i
thought i would get 1-2 photos but received a photo for
pretty much every fault found with the car, which is
amazing.
I then called David the inspector, who was more than happy
to go through the report with me, he was very professional
and knowledgeable and his advice and experience was greatly
appreciated. He knew his stuff, and had a great phone
manner and was excellent at explaining the faults to me.
My overall experience with State roads was excellent, and I
would be defiantly be using and recommending them in the
future.

congratulate you for a really thorough and impressive
inspection.
I
had an inspection conducted a couple of a weeks ago on a car I
ended up buying. I was a bit hesitant at first, mostly because
being an European car it is not uncommon for mechanics to
bluntly state “I don’t touch those vehicles”, something I
experienced in the past.
As
it turned out, there was no reason to be concerned. Paul was
tremendously helpful, knowledgeable, very professional and
always ready to offer explanations and advice.
I
will certainly recommend your services to family and friends.

Hi Jo,
I just wanted to thank you very much for
the State Roads pre purchase inspection. This is the first car I
have bought all by myself (I'm only 45). I felt confident and
pleased as punch with my choice once I had the report. The
inspector was punctual, and even picking up the keys for the car
and then returning them was done willingly and professionally.
He communicated the state of the car in terms I could
understand, and was clearly satisfied in his job.

Thanks Wim. I appreciate it mate. When I told the Sales Manager,
he “begged to differ” on your findings. He couldn’t accept that
the vehicle had 7 out of 11 panels resprayed! I have sent him
your report and an absolute scathing email!
